Rohloff Drop Bar Bike for Commuting

You always remember your first one.

This is the first bike that I made. It reused components of my Santos Travelmaster Expedition bike I had been using for many years commuting the 32km(~20mi) round trip to my day job at the time. Made of 7005 aluminum tubing. Reused 26in wheels with reradiused Velo Orange Wavy black fenders. SON 28 Klassik dynamo hub. Custom unicrown steel fork with in house made hooded dropouts. Option for belt drive. Painted with Rosso Corallo (Fiat 500 color) and Pantone 509C. Internal dynamo wiring. Bushnell Eccentric bottom bracket, Van Nicholas Rohloff/Pinion Drop handelbar. Cantilever brakes on Rigida CSS (Ceramic coated) rims. Pump peg for a full frame pump. Rode so much nicer than the ultra overbuilt Santos frame.

The name comes from the duration of my commute. It took ~60min one way and i wanted to go Sub60 minutes. It was a goal that was always oh so close, though I achieved that successfully many times after I built this bike. The bike was definitely a part of it.
